How does this work?
  1. Your guess is as good as mine
  2. An incredibly off-putting self portrait is loaded initially
  3. Every 3 hours (because I’m using the free tier of an API) a Javascript function pulls a random word from an online database
  4. The word is searched and an image returned using Google’s Image Search API

About the author

Jacob Meier is 3 raccoons in a human suit trying his best. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Humanities as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Michigan State University. Additionally he received an Associate in Theatre and in Computer Science from Lansing Community College. He can also play piano and guitar and would like to one day complete a triathlon. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his dog, doing crosswords, and trying to destabilize the patriarchy.
